So me, SDI, and BBOY Altas went to Maryland this past weekend, and it was SOMETHING, I tell you... SOMETHING. When we finally got there, we met up with Gunjack at a club in Baltimore. We got there around 1 in the morning and I thought we were going to rest for tomorrow's event, but I guess we didn't. Gunjack and his boy, John, took us to places in Baltimore. Then, we ended up crashing at John's place and slept there.
Next day, we got ready and headed to THE BREAK OFF. Seen a lot of familiar faces and I met a lot of new people. The scene in Maryland is different from Jersey. Me and the guys entered for the event, and we did pretty well. I couldn't really pull out anything because I pulled my groin. FUCK ME! Joe, Kev, and Phil made it to the prelims and Phil made it to the Quarter Finals(?). I'm proud of all of them. After the event, we went back to John's crib, had our own party, and ended up going to a college party. The party wasn't that great because it was too dark and it felt like it was a white people party haha. All of us left early, and we headed to a strip club!! Boy, was that SOMETHING.
On our last day in Maryland, we went to D.C. for another BBOY event. It was a 3 on 3 battle. Joe, Kev, and Phil signed up and went as "Nickels, Dimes, and Dubs" haha. They made it to the prelims and then lost to 5 Crew Dynasty. In my opinion, I thought they took that battle, but it's all good. All of us had a great time in Maryland, and hopefully we'll go back there, again.
